The Senior Analyst of Product Development Project Management (PDPM) will assist in the execution of new product development projects from inception to completion and product launch. The Sr. Analyst will communicate and interact effectively with cross-functional counterparts to facilitate new product initiatives.
The Senior Analyst, Product Development Project Management (PDPM) will manage projects through phases of development and sign-off process. The individual will establish and communicate product specifications to cross-functional teams. Additional project team management responsibilities include negotiating unit costs, estimates, costs changes and final costs for development projects in order to achieve the best costs for projects.
The Senior Analyst, PDPM will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of project data in Team Center and other applications. S/he will maintain process and discipline, support divisional standards and propose innovative solutions to project problems. The individual will meet joint Product Development and Category Management expectations and commitments for product launches and marketing initiatives. S/he will establish project milestones and develop project plans with Manager. The Senior Analyst will be expected to utilize project tools, software and Team Center to manage products and meet time line objectives.
The Senior Analyst, PDPM will provide prompt team cross-functional status reports. S/he will facilitate timely project communication and provide organized and pertinent information at design review meetings. The individual will provide prompt project information in support of strategic initiatives to Global Merchandising, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Publicity and Training as needed. S/he will manage internal and external vendor communication.
The individual will also have expense and inventory management responsibilities. These include monitoring project budgets for tooling, modeling and other development costs, monitoring project associated administrative expenses and managing/maintaining security of new samples, borrowed merchandise and unmounted stones.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) with ability to learn new software
Undergraduate College degree preferred
Prior Merchandising or Retail experience, preferably in a luxury branded product
Preferred Qualifications are as follows:
Basic Gemstone knowledge; Graduate Gemologist a plus
Overall industry knowledge for product category
Prior Product Development experience
Overall product development manufacturing process knowledge
Complete working knowledge of Tiffany & Co. merchandise information systems and operations
