The Senior Analyst supports the global assortment planning functions for Tiffany & Co. products to deliver optimal sales growth. In this global role, he/she will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the implementation of the artificial intelligence (AI) and predictive analytics tool
  • Partnering with Global Assortment Planning (GAP) Director & team, Category Merchandising (CM) and the Regional Merchants to set worldwide assortments, as well as managing new product introductions to drive sales, turn, and sales per square foot.

AI and Predictive Analytics

In partnership with the Global Assortment Planning team, the Senior Analyst will support the implementation of advanced analytics and AI technology in order to drive space optimization with sharper, more accurate, and hyper-relevant assortment plans.

Global Assortment Planning

In partnership with the Global Assortment Planning Director, the Senior Analyst supports productive worldwide distribution plans across new and existing product while ensuring brand alignment globally. He/she supports assortment reviews at the regional and store level based on sales, productivity, and brand position goals in partnership with the regions and Category Management.

New Product Planning

He/she supports the global communication of Merchandising strategies and new product news to the regions. In partnership with the Global Planning Director, he/she sets initial new product distribution plans by region and partners with the regional Merchandising team to set final distribution plans by store.

The role requires an individual who can own projects with a positive culture of achievement and an eye toward innovation.


Global Assortment Planning

  • Support the worldwide store assortment planning process to drive sales, turn, and sales per square foot for Retail, e-comm, and Wholesale; promote optimization in order to better target key business and consumer segments in partnership with Global Assortment Planning Director and each region; partner with regional Merchandising team to align on distribution plan
  • Communicate assortment strategy cross-functional teams to ensure alignment; frequently visit our stores and our competitors to assess assortment strategy; partner with GAP Director and Category Management to execute annual assortment calendar and category priorities; vet requests for off-cycle regional assortment updates ensuring submitted changes will have a meaningful impact on the business; partner with Demand and Replenishment Planning to meet financials
  • Competitive reviews: support competitive reviews on product offering and pricing in partnership with GAP team and the regions
  • Partnership: foster collaboration and alignment with cross-functional teams promoting open and real-time communication; seek feedback from regional Merchandising teams in an effort to share best-practices and amend distribution plans based on feedback

AI and Predictive Analytics

  • Support the Implementation of advanced analytics and AI technology for dynamic assortment planning with data-driven, localized, customer-centric assortment plans
  • In partnership with GAP Director, set unique, individualized, hyper-localized store assortments in order to differentiate the customer experience store by store with a more relevant offering
  • Enable a more collaborative process with our regions with faster updates and prioritized wins

New Product Planning

  • Support the new product assortment planning process at the regional and store level balancing needs across key initiatives, productivity requirements, and visual merchandising while simultaneously considering the product offering and caseline presentation and space constraints; partner with Category Management and Planning teams to inform distribution decisions and to meet financials
  • Product news: Support the communication on new product introductions to the regions to ensure one consistent and prioritized Merchandising voice; communicate corporate approach clearly and effectively on key initiatives
  • Execution: support GAP Director to reduce duplication across Corporate and Region and to continue to focus work on meaningful vs niche sales opportunities


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business experience
  • College degree
