This individual is responsible for all operations functions within the store. This includes overseeing merchandise (i.e. incoming and outgoing) and general administration. Typically, this position is located in a store with a large sales volume.
Oversee store merchandise:
Receive merchandise and prepare transfers and appros to other locations.
Ensure store inventory accuracy, condition and availability to optimize customer service.
Maintain the returns report.
Lead and coordinate cycle count and physical inventory prep work.
Process price changes, merges, re-classes and ticket changes.
Follow-up on special orders/back orders.
Function as the liasion with faciliities and IT, follow up on audit issues and manage record retention.
Perform daily cashier functions including accounts payable and cash related functions.
Act as Security and Health & Safety liaison for the store.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace. This includes but is not limited to maintaining daily paperwork and supplies and securing all merchandise in the vault at the end of each business day.
Assist in project work, maintain accurate logs, or work in other areas as needed.
Understand and follow all TCO policies and procedures, written processes and verbal instructions including but not limited to Internal Audit policies, departmental processes and Health & Safety best practices
Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:
2-3 years of prior retail experience in retail operations with comprehensive knowledge of merchandising, customer service, administration and shipping.
Analytical skills preferred.
Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work retail store hours as necessary, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to work well with customers, peers and management.
Ability to understand and adhere to Tiffany & Co. standards.
Ability to manage project works and to meet deadlines.
Flexibiity to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs.
