The Sr. Analyst helps drive the global in-store execution of the Global Merchandising strategy to maximize sales for all Tiffany & Co. products. In this role, s/he will be responsible for communicating with the regional Merchandising teams and Global CVM to articulate the product strategy and translate the assortment plans into actionable retail strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a very strong analytic background, effective communication skills, and a keen sense of retail knowledge. The role requires an individual who can independently manage and own projects with a strong drive for achievement. The Sr. Analyst is self-motivated with an eye towards innovation as well as efficiency. S/he thinks creatively regarding strategic approach, analytic execution and reporting/tools and enjoys a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Global In-Store Execution and Space Optimization
The Sr. Analyst will define and communicate space planning standards to better target key business and consumer segments and increase assortment productivity in partnership with each region. S/he will conduct annual space productivity review and adjustments; call out, propose options, and resolve for stores where the footprint does not yield itself to the directive.
The Sr. Analyst will help support the merchandising strategies for the Flagship of the Future, New Store Concept, New Market Development, as well as concepts shops. S/he will also help drive test and learn projects that will inform our in-store strategy.
The Sr. Analyst will foster collaboration and alignment with regional heads and regional Merchandising teams promoting open and real-time communication in an effort to share best-practices and review successful tests and distortions.
Product Initiatives & Communication
The Sr. Analyst will help execute the global communication of Merchandising strategies across regions and drive global alignment on new product launches and product initiatives. S/he will continue to develop and evolve The Power of New program, with a cross-departmental approach.
The Sr. Analyst will work to reduce duplication across Corporate and Region and to continue to focus work on meaningful sales opportunities; constantly review communication and reporting protocol with regional merchants to decrease duplicative work; firm up feedback process on competitive landscape by region.
In-Store Product Presentation
The Sr. Analyst partners with Creative Visual Merchandising and Category Management to drive product display directives and new form development needs and ensure a consistent regional execution of the global merchandising strategy in partnership with the regions. S/he will lead CVM/Merchandising meetings to ensure global alignment and will act as voice of regional teams identifying opportunities as it pertains to updating adjacencies, the need for new directives and visual changes based on business needs calling out regional nuances as needed. S/he will play an integral role in the merchandising strategy behind new in-store presentations such as personalization and style studio.
